RAWALPINDI, Jul 12 (APP):Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting 5 operations managed to recover 27 kg drugs and arrested 8 accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Friday.
He informed that 400 grams ice was recovered from a parcel booked for Australia at a courier office in Islamabad.
20.4 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle intercepted near the bus stand in Rawalpindi and 4 accused were arrested during the operation.
1 kg opium and 2 kg heroin were recovered from the possession of two suspects rounded up on M-1 Motorway Islamabad.
2.4 kg hashish was recovered from an accused netted near Daska in Sialkot.
510 grams ice was recovered from an accused arrested near Band Road Lahore.
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.
