PPP to not ally any political party in upcoming polls

ISLAMABAD Nov 10 (Online): In the upcoming general elections, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided not to form an alliance with any political party.

The local leadership of the party will be entrusted with the powers for seat-to-seat adjustment at the local level.

According to the details, PPP has started formulating a strategy for the general elections early next year, and after considering the electoral alliance with various political parties, the sources have claimed that the People’s Party will not oppose any political party in the general elections. It has been decided not to form an electoral alliance with any party.

While in the upcoming general elections, PPP will participate in the elections on its electoral symbol, Sources claimed that in the past, electoral alliances have been formed against the People’s Party and now the People’s Party has set up seat-to-seat at the local level under the new election strategy and decided to empower local leadership for adjustment.

Sources also said that local leadership of the party will have the authority to make seat-to-seat adjustments according to their constituency; while on the other hand, regarding the general elections in the country, the Pakistan People’s Party has decided to speed up the public relations campaign.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been finalized. He will address the Workers’ Convention during his visit.

According to PPP sources, Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from November 16 to 22. Bilawal Bhutto will spend a busy day in Abbottabad on November 16, Mardan on November 17, Nowshera on November 18 and Peshawar on November 19.

Bilawal Bhutto will spend November 20 and 21 in Upper Dir and Lower Dir while the last day of KP visit will be in Chitral on November 22.
