Youths are not voicing protest; they are expressing solidarity with parliament today at D-Chowk: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD, August 13 (Online): Information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said today the youths are not voicing protest at D-Chowk but they are expressing solidarity with the parliament.

The police from all the four provinces demonstrated national unity by holding march past here. Today Pakistani nation has gathered here to celebrate 75th diamond jubilee of Pakistan, she said this while addressing the national flag painting ceremony here Saturday.

She said youths of Pakistan are expressing solidarity with Pakistan today.. Interior minister Rana Sana Ullah, IG police Islamabad and all the four provinces police sent their jawans here for march past which is a good omen.

Today our youths are ready to render sacrifice of their lives for Pakistan, she remarked. 65 percent population of the country comprises youths at present. Youths pay rich tribute to the persons who are behind the independence of Pakistan and armed forces. Armed forces and police are deployed for our safety round the clock. Whenever democratic era came in this country, its fruits reached the people.

Quaid-e-Azam had said democracy is future of this country, she said adding Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave constitution to this country and Nawaz Sharif connected all the federating units through connectivity and gave motor way.

Nawaz Sharif materialized nuclear program started by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, she observed.

She said fireworks and laser show will be held at D-Chowk tomorrow at midnight to celebrate Diamond Jubilee of the country.
