Acting Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasir said that empowering women and youth was essential for Pakistan’s development, economic prosperity and sustainable growth.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the 2WINSY Café in DHA Phase-II, Islamabad, as chief guest, he termed the entry of young women into the business sector on the occasion of Pakistan’s Defence Day a highly encouraging and commendable initiative.
He said that the young twin sisters, who had embarked on their entrepreneurial journey at the age of 19, were not only securing their own future but also contributing to the national economy. He emphasized that enabling women to achieve economic independence was a true manifestation of women’s empowerment.
Educated and economically empowered women, equipped with entrepreneurial skills, could also play a vital role in nurturing and shaping a better generation for the future, he added.
The Acting Chairman Senate congratulated the twin sisters on establishing 2WINSY Café and commended their parents, siblings and friends for encouraging and supporting them in pursuing their ambitions and making a mark of their own.
He expressed hope that 2WINSY Café would achieve greater success in the future and expand its presence through multiple branches.
Syedal Khan Nasir observed that women constitute more than half of Pakistan’s population. If women continued to contribute to the country’s economic and social development with the same determination and spirit, Pakistan could achieve rapid and sustainable progress.
He underscored the importance of promoting small businesses, trade and investment as key drivers of a stronger and more vibrant national economy.
