LAHORE, July 14 (Online): PPP senior leader and federal minister Khurshid Ahmad has said when Imran Khan ego breaks and he says he is ready to sit then PPP will sit with him and bring him to politics.
“Political parties never escape negotiations. PPP never runs away from negotiations. Talks are held with enemy country. Imran Khan escapes talks and he has never held talks, he said this in an interview here Friday.
“If Imran Khan says he is going to meet Asif Ali Zardari and political parties should unite. Then we will sit with him and bring him to politics, he added.
We will teach Imran Khan democracy and tell him about the integrity and solidarity of Pakistan. We had extended invitation to Imran Khan for talks and charter of economy. Why did this situation arise. He has always said opposition is seeking NRO, he added.
“Whosoever considers PTI political party is innocent. There is tremendous difference in the attitude of PTI and a political party. Political party will never say destroy the institutions and launch arson attack. , he remarked.
Replying to a question he said consensus has developed in ruling alliance on the tenure of care taker government and date of dissolution of assembly. All coalition parties are agreed on tenure of care taker government and dissolution of assembly. All allied parties are agreed assembly should be dissolved from August 11 to 13. Care taker set up should stay for two to three months. Then election will take place.
He dispelled the impression that PML-N wants delay in election. No such issue is there in ruling alliance. The media reports on differences between PPP and PML-N in this regard are false.
