ISLAMABAD Sep 24 (Online): Muslim League-N Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has said that Pervez Musharraf went out in our own government but we were helpless.
It has to be admitted that our Afghan policy has failed, he added.
He further said that general Faiz gave a briefing to the Parliament on the negotiations with the Taliban. We asked General Faiz about the guarantor and he said that the guarantor is the Afghan Taliban.
Talking to private TV, Mushahid Hussain Syed said that General Faiz had a long and wide plan regarding the Taliban. His plan was to bring the Taliban into the mainstream to bring peace. It was all based on wishes and happiness.
He said that the government of one and a half years has damaged the PML-N. Chairman PTI took the narrative that was ours.
There was only one achievement of the PDM government. The PDM government made the chairman PTI a hero from zero.
There is no other choice but election, Mushad Hussain said.
The new Chief Justice is a breath of fresh air. Political leaders cannot be removed by the force of a stick. Politics is the name of possibilities. Elections are a very dangerous thing.
