ISLAMABAD, March 23 (Online): World Bank (WB) has approved loan amounting to 149.70 million dollars for Pakistan. The amount approved by WB will be spent on two projects. According to WB 78 million dollars will be provided for Digital Economy Enhancement Project. 71.7 million dollars will be provided for protection and fortification of barrages in Sindh.
Country director has said disastrous flood in 2022 adversely affected infrastructure in Pakistan. Steps for protecting and strengthening barrages are essential. E- services will be provided to citizens and different firms under Deep program.
