Islamabad, Dec 6 (Online): Under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, International Volunteer Day was celebrated across the country.
In this regard, various events were organized across the country.
Regarding this day, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that volunteers are any kind of volunteer.
Volunteers are like the backbone of a charity organization. Volunteers have to be ready to face the time and circumstances. It is part of their job. Tribute to the thousands of Alkhidmat volunteers who have worked diligently and passionately under the circumstances.
The volunteers of Alkhidmat are the pioneers of Alkhidmat who have set examples of service to the people without caring about their lives even in the most difficult situations. Be it the global epidemic of Corona, daily accidents or earthquakes and floods, Alkhidmat is all over the country.
More than 60,000 volunteers were seen every moment to help their countrymen. During the recent floods across the country, the volunteers of Alkhidmat are rendering excellent services in the rescue, relief and rehabilitation phase as well. Muhammad Abdul Shakoor He said that in order to make the youth aware of the importance and necessity of volunteering and how they can create service as students, the seventh Alkhidmat Youth Gathering is being organized at the beginning of next year.
The Alkhidmat Youth Gathering will also include various sessions in which Students from different universities, vice chancellors, famous motivational speakers, well-known political and social figures and media persons will be attended by a large number of people from different walks of life. Valuable services have been rendered to them will also be specially invited to the program.
