ISLAMABAD, April 23 (Online): District and Sessions Court Islamabad has confirmed bail of PTI leader Azam Khan Swati in violation of section 144 case. Additional and Sessions Judge Owais Khan heard the bail plea Tuesday. Azam Swati appeared in the court along with his lawyers. The court accepted bail of Azam Swati against surety bonds worth Rs 5000.
Ali Bokhari counsel for Azam Swati said Azam Swati was arrested in this case and on next day he was granted bail. His bail was dismissed due to non appearance in the court and he was declared proclaimed offender. Police officer has been made plaintiff in this case which is illegal.
The court confirmed bail of Azam Swati after hearing the arguments. It is pertinent to mention here case was registered against Azam Swati in 2014 for violating section 144.
