ISLAMABAD, August 24 (Online): US has assured support for holding free and fair elections in accordance with constitution and law in Pakistan.
In a statement released by US Embassy, spokesperson said that US Ambassador Donald Blome met with Chief Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in office of Election Commission (EC).
US Ambassador assured the support of America for conducting free and fair elections according to constitution and law of Pakistan in meeting with Chief Election Commissioner.
US Ambassador said in meeting that it is duty of Pakistani nation to elect future leadership of Pakistan.
He further said that we will continue to work together with the elected representatives of Pakistanis to further deepen and expand Pakistan-US relations.
