ISLAMABAD – The security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, Pakistan Army’s media wing said on Thursday.
A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate said that the security forces conducted two separate operations on terrorists’ hideouts in North Waziristan. “Two terrorists including an IED expert [was] killed in IBOs,” said the ISPR. It, however, added that during exchange of fire, three Pak Army soldiers also embraced Shahadat. Those embraced martyrdom include Sepoy Azaib Ahmed, resident of Karak; Sepoy Zia Ul Islam, resident of Bannu; and Lance Naik Abbass Khan, resident of Distt Orakzai.
Meanwhile, a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in unprovoked Indian army firing along the Line of Control, media wing of the military said on Thursday.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate, Indian troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LOC) in Dewa Sector. “Pakistan army troops responded promptly and inflicted heavy losses to enemy in terms of men and material,” said the ISPR further. However, it added, in intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Nabeel Liaqat, age 28 years, resident of Gujjar Khan embraced Shahadat while responding valiantly to the Indian unprovoked ceasefire violation. India has been continuing with its anti-Pakistan designs while pursuing to unprovoked firing along the LoC.
