Two most wanted terrorists of Daesh killed in intelligence based operation

QUETTA, SEP 24 (Online): Two most wanted terrorists of militant organization Daesh have been killed in exchange of firing with CTD during an intelligence-based operation in the Sorgaz area of Khuzdar district

CTD spokesperson said on the information of presence of militants in hilly area of Sorgaz, CTD dispatched a team to the respective area.

They intercepted the armed men travelling on motorbikes. They were trying to enter Balochistan from Shahdadkot town of Sindh to target a sensitive installation in Khuzdar, the department said.

As they saw security officials, the suspected terrorists opened fire using heavy weapons and also hurled hand grenades.

The CTD team also took positions and returned fire. Two militants were killed in exchange of fire.

Three other militants managed to escape in the darkness of night. One among the killed militants has been identified as Mati Ullah alias Bismillah. His head money was fixed one lac rupees and his name was included in red book.

A huge quantity of arms and ammunition including a sub-machine gun with 34 rounds, a 9mm pistol with 12 rounds, 5kg explosives, five-metre detonating cord, a remote-controlled device and a motorcycle have been recovered from the terrorists.

The FIR of the incident has been registered in CTD police station Khuzdar.
Search operation is underway to arrest the fleeing militants.
