ISLAMABAD, Dec 26 (Online): Supreme Court (SC) has returned with objections contempt of court petition against defence secretary.
Civil society had filed contempt of court petition against defence secretary for not sending cases of those accused in May 9 and 10 incidents to criminal courts following the SC decision regarding nullification of civilian trial in military courts.
SC returned the petition remarking the decision of nullification of civilian trial in military courts has been suspended on December 13.
Therefore, the petition is not maintainable.
