The Lahore High Court stopped the police from operating in Zaman Park .

In the Lahore High Court, a hearing was held on the application to stop by the police operation in Zaman Park. According to the court order, Chief Secretary Punjab, IG Punjab, CCPO Lahore appeared in the court.

The Lahore High Court stopped the police from operating in Zaman Park Justice Tariq Saleem Shaikh said, “Is there any objection if we stop the operation until the decision of the Islamabad High Court?” On which the IG Punjab said that we are bound to implement every order of the court.

Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh ordered that the operation should be stopped immediately, on which the IG Punjab took the stand that ‘we have deployed forces from different districts.’

The court told IG Punjab that ‘if you go back 200 feet, it doesn’t matter.’ The court ordered to stop the police operation till 10 o’clock on Thursday morning. The court said that the police will be restricted to Mall Road, Kanal Pul, Dharmapura. “We have made a ceasefire and the final decision will be taken by the Islamabad High Court.”
