Supreme Court rejected Swati’s claim of staying at Quetta’s Judicial Lodges

ISLAMABAD – November 6 (ONLINE) The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Sunday rejected PTI Senator Azam Swati’s claims that he stayed at Quetta’s judicial lodges.

The Senator on Saturday broke into tears during a press conference, saying that his private moments with wife were allegedly filmed during his stay at Quetta’s Judicial Lodges in his trip to the Balochistan’s capital.

Swati had revealed in his presser that his wife had received a video from an unknown Whatsapp number, adding that he could not reveal more about the video because “the daughters of nation were listening”.
Swati’s press talk had provoked a mass reaction on social media, with people from all walks of life showing solidarity with the Senator.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan had asked for Mr. Swati’s wife’s apology on behalf of the whole nation.

However on Sunday, a communiqué issued by the Supreme Court negated Swati’s claim that he ever stayed at Quetta’s judicial lodges.

A press release from the apex court clarified that the senator “never used/stayed in Supreme Court Judges Rest House at Quetta”, adding that according to the Balochistan Special Branch, the PTI leader had styed at the Balochistan Judicial Academy (Judicial Complex Quetta), which was not under the apex court’s control.
