ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (Online): Election Commission (EC) has restored the suspended notification of successful candidates from all the three constituencies of Islamabad.
According to EC the notification has been restored under clause 98-1 of election act 2017.
As per notification Anjum Aqeel of PML-N has succeeded from NA-46, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry of PML-N from NA-47 and Independent candidate Khurram Nawaz has won election IN NA-48.
It is pertinent to mention here EC had suspended the notification regarding success of candidates under Islamabad High Court orders.
