Sindh Assembly Speaker fails to appear before accountability court

KARACHI – November 10 (ONLINE) Sindh Assembly (SA) Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani on Thursday did not appear before the Accountability Court in hearing of a case pertaining to his Assets beyond means case.

Consequently, the Court adjourned hearing till November 24.

On Thursday, Karachi’s accountability court heard the Reference filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Durrani allegedly for possessing assets beyond means. Other suspects in the reference however appeared before court.

Large number of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supporters gathered outside the accountability court during the hearing. It is pertinent to mention here that the judge hearing the case had retired and he hasn’t replaced by any new appointment yet.
