ISLAMABAD, MAY 15 (ONLINE): Sher Afzal Marwat has been acquitted in violence against senator Afnan Ullah case.
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has issued written order whereby Sher Afzal Marwat has been acquitted.
According to written decision Sher Afzal Marwat was nominated in the case. During investigation no criminal material was recovered from Sher Afzal Marwat. The plaintiff did not appear in the court. This shows his lack of interest in the case.
it was said in the decision that if the trial of this case is conducted even then there is no chance of any punishment for the accused. Therefore, acquittal plea of Sher Afzal Marwat is approved.
It is pertinent to mention here case against Sher Afzal Marwat was registered in police station Aabpara.
