Rawalpindi January 25 (Online): The health of Awami Muslim League leader, former Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed has become unwell in Adiala Jail.
He has been shifted to RIC hospital.
According to sources, Sheikh Rasheed was shifted to RIC hospital due to his sudden health deterioration in Adiala Jail.
Full physical examination of Sheikh Rasheed will be done in RIC. Court will summon the report of Sheikh Rasheed’s medical examination from Jail administration.
Sheikh Rashid Shafique, the nephew of Sheikh Rasheed told that jail administration had informed about the deterioration of health of former Interior Minister by the phone that Sheikh Rasheed is being transferred to RIC.
It is pertinent to say that Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application in the case of May 9 attack was rejected on January 16 and after that he was arrested from Court premises.
Former Interior Minister is named in the case of arson in the office of sensitive institutions.
