‘Sheer waste of public money’ NA session adjourned over incomplete quorum

Islamabad – October 15 (Online): Ruling PTI was unable to ensure presence of its lawmakers during National Assembly (NA) session which cost public billions of rupees, Online reported Friday.

According to sources, government suffered series of defeats at National Assembly in terms of number of attendee members. Despite having 178 members, the government failed to complete quorum at the second session of its fourth parliamentary year, a sheer waste of billions of public money.

According to details, PTI’s chief whip Amir Dogar looked upset over lack of interest shown by government lawmakers. He had directed all the assembly members via whatsapp group to participate in the meeting, sources said.

National Assembly’s latest meeting was adjourned due to incomplete quorum.
