ISLAMABAD, Nov 15 (Online): Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said Sharif family should give money trail of Avenfield apartments purchase rather than minting foolish stories and conspiracy theories.
“ what tid bits are launching the campaign to prove Nawaz Sharif innocent in the country”, he said this while giving reaction to a news item related to a former chief justice of Gilgit-Baltistan here Monday.
Information minister said in his tweet “ I came across a surprising story form a journalist. What Latifas (tid bits) are running the campaign to prove Nawaz Sharif innocent in the country. Imagine you go to a judge for a cup of tea and he talks to some one other on telephone giving direction that whose bail has to be accepted and whose bail has to be rejected. The accused is not an ordinary man but he is Prime minister of the country.
He remarked that Avenfield apartments were later shifted to ownership of Maryam Nawaz. On the other hand Maryam Nawaz said she had not even any property in Pakistan or London. Now property of billion of rupees has come to open and she should give reply to it.
Rana M Shamim former Chief Justice Gilgit-Baltistan has said in his affidavit he was witness to this incident that former chief justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar had ordered a judge of high court Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz should not be released on bail before general election of 2018.
