Quetta (Online) As many as 33 districts were affected by flood disaster in Balochistan. Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s attention remained focused on Balochistan, while Chief Minister Balochistan has not been able to visit a Union Council so far.
The Prime Minister has so far made 6 visits to Balochistan, in which the Chief Minister of Balochistan accompanied him in only 3 visits.
For the first time in the history of Balochistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is the only Prime Minister who has visited Balochistan the most in all this situation.
Shahbaz Sharif visited Jhal Magsi district on July 30, Qila Saifullah district and Chaman district on August 20, Jafarabad on August 28, Bolan area of Kuchhi district on September 4, Awastha Muhammad along with the United Nations Secretary General on September 10, and Sahabpur district on September 14.
While the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Abdul Qudus Bizenjo, as the Chief Minister of the province did not have the opportunity to visit any Union Council or his constituency Awaran.
Apart from the intra-provincial visits, the Balochistan Chief Minister did not even visit the flood-affected areas in Quetta, the provincial capital, due to which differences have arisen in the Balochistan Awami Party and important leaders including the Secretary General of BAP have also expressed their differences.
