ISLAMABAD 15 July (Online): Severe heat wave continues in different parts of country.

Power shortfall reached 6524 megawatts.

According to power division, the overall production of electricity is 19476 megawatts.

The requirement of electricity is 26000 megawatts.

Load shedding is being done till 12 hours across country.

The production of hydroelectricity is 6803 megawatts.

Government thermal power plants are generating 615 megawatts of electricity.

The power plants of private sectors are generating 7572 megawatts of electricity.

The production of electricity by wind power plants is 1290 megawatts.

The production of electricity by solar power plants is 117 megawatts.

82 megawatts of electricity is being generated by bagasse.

The production of electricity by nuclear power plants is 2997 megawatts.
