ISLAMABAD, March 08 (ONLINE): Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has said in Senate that Imran Khan be released and all the prisoners be granted general amnesty. He said this in his farewell address in Senate Friday.
He held that the political forces should forge good relationship with judiciary, establishment and powers that be .
He called for immediate release of all political forces.
He went on to say the respect of upper house has enhanced due to issuance of production order of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry by deputy chairman Senate.
He underlined if talks can be held with TTP and disgruntled Baloch then why these cannot be with political parties.
Democracy should come in the country through vote and this was vision of Quaid-e-Azam. He was not general or judge. He was politician.
A true democracy can put the country on the path to success, he added.
