The security forces have killed 48 terrorists belonging to Indian proxies Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in multiple operations across Balochistan during the last 48 to 72 hours.
According to ISPR, during comprehensive anti-terrorist operations with increased tempo in Balochistan, the security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based operations in Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi districts during the last 12 to 24 hours, neutralizing 36 terrorists.
During an operation in Mastung, the movement of terrorists was identified and engaged by the security forces. An intense exchange of fire resulted in the killing of six more Indian-sponsored terrorists. A cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices was also destroyed on-site.
In another engagement, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Shaban area of Quetta district. During the operation, troops identified four Khwarij hideouts and, following an exchange of fire, neutralized 26 Khwarij.
An intelligence-based operation was also conducted in Kalat, during which two Indian-sponsored terrorists were eliminated.
In Bhag area of Sibi district, a swift response by the security forces in coordination with the local population foiled a terrorist attempt to raid the Bhag police station. During the exchange of fire, two Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed.
Twelve Indian-sponsored terrorists were also killed in another operation in Kalat district.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the area.
The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
