ISLAMABD 10 March (Online): National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser chaired a meeting on Thursday, to discuss constitutional matters in connection with no confidence movement.
According to sources, Defense Minister Pervez Khatak met the Speaker three times a day on Thursday to discuss the no confidence motion.
Meanwhile, a lawyers’ delegation also met the speaker in the perspective of the movement.
NA secretariat authorities also informed Asad Qaiser about the verification of the lawmakers’ signs on the no confidence motion.
The sources told that the secretariat has suggested summoning of the NA session on 14th March and voting on March 18.
Therefore, Asad Qaiser spent a busy day today in the Speaker House. He met members’ parliament individually.
Members’ parliaments Ali Muhammad Khan, Zain Qureshi, Sana Ullah Masti Khail, Raza Nasarullah Guman and Mehboob Sultan are among the legislators who called on the speaker.
Current political situation and the no confidence movement were discussed during the meeting and all the members expressed full confidence on PM Imran Khan.
