SC rejects bail plea of accused in drug case as withdrawn

ISLAMABAD,. Feb 19 (Online): Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed bail plea of an accused arrested in drug case as withdrawn.
A two members bench of SC presided over by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood took up the case for hearing Monday.
Justice Tariq Masood remarked when the accused is arrested then detailed search is conducted. Recovery of pistol and heroin are two separate matters. Police walas are becoming wise. The drugs were recovered from the body of accused and not from vehicle.

The counsel for petitioner said fake case was made and his client was nominated therein. In first case pistol was recovered and in second case drugs were got recovered after one hour. The accused is in jail since three and half months.
Justice Sardar Tariq Masood inquired is not it injustice that children take heroin. These children are found lying along side road after taking heroin .

The counsel for the petitioner said I withdraw my petition.
The court dismissed the petition as withdrawn.
The accused Imtiaz Ahmad resorted to SC against rejection of bail plea in high court.
