ISLAMABAD, JAN 06 (ONLINE): Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has issued notice to former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in former deputy speaker ruling case.

During the hearing of the case Justice Amin ud Din inquired has this case not become infructuous,
Haris Azmat counsel for Hamza Shahbaz told the court case has not become infrucuous.
Constitutional bench had issued notices to respondents on previous hearing.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar remarked who will appear on behalf of Pervaiz Elahi. P ervaiz Elahi too is respondent in case.
The court later issuing notice adjourned the hearing of the case.
It is pertinent to mention here SC had nullified ruling of deputy speaker Punjab Assembly while Hamza Shahbaz had challenged the decision in review.
