ISLAMABAD, The sacrifices rendered by martyrs of Kashmiris will not go waste and the day is not far when the sun of their freedom from illegal Indian occupation will rise, Mishal Malik, wife of jailed Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik said on Thursday.
Talking to a private news channel, while paying rich tributes to Shaheed Burhan Wani on his 5th martyrdom anniversary, she said that brave Burhan Wani would always be remembered and his struggle for Kashmir cause would be accomplished at all costs.
She said that killings, arrests and harassment of Kashmiri women could not desist them from their ongoing liberation movement.
Replying to a question, she said her husband Yasin Malik was being subjected to the worst mental and physical torture, which was extremely exceptional for a political prisoner.
She further said that international community should play its role to stop violation of human rights by Indian troops in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
