RAWALPINDI, MARCH 19 (ONLINE): Rawalpindi Police have obtained arrest warrants of PTI leader Murad Saeed and former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in 9 May violence related cases registered against them under terrorism and others clauses in different police stations.
Civil Lines and Cantt circles of Pothohar division have filed their report.
According to this report, former federal minister Murad Saeed is nominated in the case registered against him against number 836/23 in police station cantt under terrorism and other clauses and case No 708/23 registered against him in RA Bazar police station under these clauses. Arrest warrants have been obtained in this regard.
No case is registered against Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Azam Swati, Azhar Mashwani and Khurram Zeeshan in five police stations of Cantt circle.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is also nominated in the case No 836/23 registered in Cantt police station and case No 708/ 23 registered in police station RA Bazar. His arrest warrants have been obtained in these cases.
It has been said case No 981/23 is registered against Murad Saeed in Civil lines police station and case NO 397/23 is registered against him in police station Morgah.
Case No 981/23 is registered against Pervaiz Elahi in police station civil lines too.
It is pertinent to mention here that the authorities have asked from Rawalpindi police about the criminal record and their status in respect of PTI leaders Murad Saeed, Pervaiz Elahi, Senator Faisal Javed, Senator Azam Swati, Azhar Mashwani, and Khurram Zeeshaan.
CPO office Rawalpindi directed to check all record at police stations level and provide requisite record and information.
