ISLAMABAD, FEB 11 (ONLINE): Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has told Islamabad High Court (IHC) result of CSS examination for the year 2024 will be announced in the last week of April.
During the hearing of petition seeking court’s order to stay holding new examination before announcement of result of CSS examination 2024 Chairman FPSC said the result for CSS examination 2024 will be announced in the last week of April. If I could do some thing I would have done but it is not possible.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked you should have done within the powers held by you.
Akhtar Nawaz Satti said commission took the decision in larger interest that examination be held in time.

Chairman FPSC Lt Gen (Retd) Akhtar Nawaz Satti appeared in the court.
The court inquired from Akhtar Nawaz Satti since when he has become chairman.
Lt Gen (Retd) Akhtar Nawaz Satti said he took over charge of office on October 9, 2024.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked matter was sent to you to see it in your own way.
The court remarked there are such candidates who are appearing in the examination for 2025.
Chairman FPSC said result of CSS examination for the year 2024 will be announced in the last week of April.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked authority wields powers therefore, the matter was sent to commission. The rights of the students are being affected and no one is seeing them.
Chairman FPSC said if I could do some thing I would have done it. But it is not possible.
It is pertinent to mention here court had summoned chairman FPSC for not announcing result of CSS examination -2024 besides seeking reply from him.
A petition was filed in this regard wherein it was said new examination schedule has been issued while situation is this over 8 months have lapsed but the result of previous examination has not been announced.
