Restrictions on meeting with PTI founder other prisoners in Adiala jail abolished

RAWALPINDI, March 28 (ONLINE): Restrictions on meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan and other prisoners in Adiala jail have been lifted.
Punjab government had imposed ban on meeting with PTI founder and other prisoners on March 12 due to security concerns which has been ended on Thursday.

Confirming the lifting of restrictions on meeting , Asad Javed Warraich, superintendent Adiala Jail said that Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and other prisoners will be able to meet with visitors as per set procedure.

It is pertinent to mention here CTD and Police during a joint operation foiled the terrorists attack near Adiala jail and arrested trained terrorists two weeks before. Threatening telephone calls were also received by Jail authorities.
