ISLAMABAD, March 25 (Online): Barrister Shahzad Atta Elahi has refuted media reports that resignation has been obtained from him.
He has said that he has tendered resignation due to personal reasons.
A federal minister had requested me not to send my written resignation to the president besides postponing my decision for giving resignation. I handed over original resignation to federal minister. Now it is discretion of the government to send it to president.
However he has made confirmation he had given resignation in writing on March 24 which was handed over to senior federal minster instead of sending it to the president of Pakistan on the same day.
