ISLAMABAD, February 01 (Online): Public holiday has been announced on February 8 in connection with general election.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has approved public holiday on February 8. Notification in this regard has been issued.
All the public and private offices, educational institutions and business centers will remain closed.
The EC while announcing the holiday has said this decision has been taken to facilitate voters so that they could not face any difficulty in exercising their right to vote.
The announcement for holding general election on February 8 has been made.
