PTI writes letter to CJP for security of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD, March 18 (Online): PTI has sent a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial for security of PTI chairman Imran Khan.

PTI general secretary Asad Umar has demanded in the letter addressed to CJP that PDM government wants to make Imran Khan target of its revenge. Imran Khan is appearing in the court. He has obtained bail in 9 cases.

High court had stopped the authorities from taking revengeful action against Imran Khan. But police on the other hand while trampling court’s orders under their feet attacked his residence. PTI has decided to take up the matter in Supreme Court (SC) for fear of arrest of Imran Khan.

Asad Umar said the doors of house of Imran Khan were smashed during the attack and the walls were demolished.

He said police have created worst ever environment of harassment in Islamabad. Media, lawyers and important people were stopped from entering into court.

The designs are becoming visible for arresting Imran Khan in some unknown case. Imran Khan has been persistently informing about the threats of life he is facing.

The learned court should take suo motu notice immediately for the protection of his life and fundamental rights.
