PESHAWAR, Dec 26 (Online): PTI has challenged Election Commission (EC) decision in regard to its intra party election in Peshawar High Court (PHC).
Lawyers of PTI have through the petition have requested PHC to declare EC decision null and void.
Earlier Babar Awan advocate while talking to media men in PHC said bat was and will remain PTI election symbol.
He went on to say PTI founder was and would remain chairman of party. We are challenging EC decision.
We are going to file contempt of court plea in Supreme Court (SC), he said adding SC has said there will be contempt of court case against whosoever impedes election.
Pre-polls rigging is being done against PTI in Punjab. Even the nomination papers were snatched from the candidates, he claimed.
