PTI approaches LHC for removal of PM Shahbaz, his cabinet, induction of care taker PM

LAHORE, JULY 27 (ONLINE): PTI has moved Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking court order for removal of Shahbaz Sharif and his cabinet and appointment of care taker Prime Minister (PM).

The petition was filed by PTI leaders Andleeb Abbas and Ehsan Niazi in LHC Wednesday making federal government, principal secretary to PM, election commission and others respondents.

The petition said money laundering cases are pending hearing against PM Shahbaz Sharif while Shahbaz Sharif and his cabinet members met with proclaimed offenders during their visit to London. PM Shahbaz Sharif included a proclaimed offender Suleman Shahbaz in his official visit to Turkey. Official visit to Turkey undertaken by Suleman Shahbaz and his wife is blatant violation of law.

The petition added PM Shahbaz Sharif is contravening the constitution by misusing his powers.

The petitioner prayed the court to issue order to remove PM and his cabinet from their offices besides appointing care taker PM in the country.
