LONDON, April 05 (Online): Finance Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar has won defamation case filed by him against a private TV channel.
The private TV channel while apologizing to Ishaq Dar has declared Ishaq Dar honest person and a man of enormous credibility. The channel has broadcast its apology.
As per report the program “night edition, do Shazia Zeeshan were aired by private channel and u-tube channel on September 25 and 26 in UK.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib had leveled grave allegations against Ishaq Dar before his return to Pakistan in 2002.
Ishaq Dar was charged with involvement in criminal activities, opening fake bank account and fleeing from the country in Khaqan Abbasi plane.
Farrukh Habib had alleged that Ishaq Dar is coming to collect the money he had accumulated during PML-N government. He will bring back this money in connivance with Nawaz Sharif through money laundering.
Farrukh had also claimed that Ishaq Dar is expert in opening fake accounts.
The channel reached compromise with Ishaq Dar after the initiation of court’s proceedings.
The TV channel regretted with Ishaq Dar over broadcasting Farrukh Habib allegations.
