Prime Minister is unaware of laymen’s miseries: CM Sindh

KARACHI – January 15 (ONLINE): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the Prime Minister was unaware of inflation as he was limited only to the PM House and only the middle class and poor were affected by inflation and unemployment.

Answering questions of reporters at Sehwan Sharif Airport, Murad Ali Shah said that he was surprised to hear Prime Minister claiming that inflation in Pakistan is lower than other countries. “It has been the policy of federal government to first make one thing more expensive and then its price, claiming that inflation has come down” he said.

To a question, Sindh CM said that it was hard for him to understand that why the production of fertilizer was reduced.

Talking about the Murree tragedy, Chief Minister said that he was sorry about the Murree incident and the concerned authorities should take action in this regard.

Replying to a question regarding local body elections, the Sindh Chief Minister said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has asked for holding local body elections in June and in this regard, demarcation work is also being started in Sindh which will be completed by March.

Talking of opposition’s long march, the CM said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has decided to hold a long march from Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum from February 27, 2022 which will head towards Islamabad.
