ISLAMABAD Aug 11 (Online): Just day after dissolution of national assembly, subsidies removed and edible items at Utility stores skyrocketed.
Ghee price increased from PKr 398 to 423 per kilogram. In total 25rupees has been increased in per kg price of ghee. According to notification here with Online new price of ghee will be implemented fro same day it was issued.
Although target subsidy will give benefit to those deserving and registered in BISP.
Prices not only increased for usual citizens but for those who are registered with Benazir Income Support program (BISP). Price increased up to 53 Pkr per kilogram for those benefiting BISP.
Subsidy has been suspended for all customers except BISP beneficiaries.
