President, PM running companies abroad: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

ISLAMABAD, JAN 11 (Online): PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said president and the Prime Minister (PM) are running companies abroad remarking that the courts had removed PM of a functional government and today these courts are silent over this matter.

“The time is not far off when they will be held accountable in these courts”, he said this while talking to media men outside the Accountability Court (AC) here Tuesday.

If cameras could go inside then we can come to know how the accountability process is running. Today I am grateful to Islamabad police that they were seen here. I don’t know why they have come here., he held.

He went on to say election commission has said in its report the PM of the country is running illegal companies. It is also mentioned in the report that PM Imran Khan has not provided account of one company or bank statement.

He questioned has NAB chairman read these reports. Imran Khan has not filed any bank statement so far. Saqib Nisar has failed to give any reply in this regard either he has influenced cases of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz or otherwise. Proposals are there still in national assembly and senate to slap more taxes on the people.

Government is unable to tell us what agreements have been reached with IMF, he deplored. Why the state bank governor is being appointed as viceroy.
Citing to Murree tragedy he said 22 persons died in Murree tragedy. No one was there to cleanse the roads. Today 50 policemen are standing therein. But not 10 police personnel were earlier present therein. Not a single person including spokespersons of Chief Minister could express a single word of condolence. Why no one has been held responsible for the tragedy so far.

He underlined former chief justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar declared Imran Khan Sadiq and Amin. Today the issue is not only inflation. Today preparations are underway in senate and national assembly to impose more taxes on people, he added.
