Practice & Procedure Act in SC, deadline for parties to file arguments till today

ISLAMABAD Sep 24 (Online): In the case against the Practice & Procedure Act in the Supreme Court, the parties have been given time to submit their written arguments only till Monday.

Orders for written replies were issued by the full court bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and the hearing was adjourned and now the hearing will be resumed by the full court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa on October 3.

The hearing of the case will be broadcast live on TV.

It should be clear that according to the written order of the previous hearing of the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act case, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that the there is challenge on pending of Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act.

The order said that the Chief Justice will consult with two senior judges for the formation of benches, allocation of cases.

It should also be noted that the Attorney General of Pakistan sought respite to go abroad and therefore the hearing of the case had to be adjourned. He will also appear in court and submit additional answer.
