PPP unveils details of Awami March

ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (Online): PPP has unveiled details of “Awami March”.

PPP vice president Sherry Rehman has said motive behind Awami March is rid the country of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan who is real cause behind the economic devastation, galloping inflation, unemployment and lawlessness.

“This march is against the upswing in the prices of petroleum products, electricity and gas. People are demanding of opposition parties to deliver them from the clutches of inept government. The claimants of Naya Pakistan have made it costly Pakistan wherein the poor masses have been deprived of their livelihood.

We have to save Pakistan from this incompetent government. PPP march will be peaceful march. We don’t believe on attacking judiciary, parliament and PTV. We believe in change of rulers through legal and constitutional ways”, she said this in a statement issued here Wednesday.

She went on to say this long march will pass through about 23 districts and 35 cities of the country. It will originate from Mazar-e-Quaid under Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday February 27. It will reach Badin while passing through Thatha and Sajawal.

It will terminate at Moro on second day while passing through Hyderabad, Hala and Nawab Shah. On March 1 it will reach Khairpur. It will commence from Sukkar on March 03 and will terminate at massive public gathering in Multan. On March 4 it will head towards Sahiwal. On March 05 it will enter into Lahore.

She pointed out that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the participants of Long March in Nasir Bagh Lahore on March 6. On March 6 it will reach Shairanwala Bagh Gujranwala. On March 07 it will head towards Rawalpindi and on March 08 it will reach Islamabad.
