PPP condemns increase in medicine prices

Islamabad – September 18 (Online): Pakistan Peoples Party on Saturday condemned increase in prices of life saving drugs and surgical instruments, and demanded government to restore previous prices.

PPP vice president in a statement said that 7-10 percent popup in prices of basic lifesaving drugs and surgical instruments is disappointing and highly condemnable.

She said that government had increased or reassessed prices twelve times before. This is a symbol of ‘unjust rule’.

Sherri said that overall prices of medicine have been increased by a 35 percent during last three years, which has put immense financial pressure on common man.
