Postponement of poll: SC registrar office rejects petitions by allied parties, govt for becoming respondents

ISLAMABAD, March 29 (ONLINE): Registrar office Supreme Court (SC) has rejected petitions filed by federal government and its allied parties for becoming respondents in the case pertaining to postponemet of polls in KP and Punjab.

The registrar office has directed the petitioner to present their petition before the bench on the occasion of hearing the case.

During the hearing of the case leaders of ruling alliance in larger number were present in SC on the occasion of hearing of the case Wednesday.

Interior minister Rana Sana Ullah, SAPM Atta Tarar, defence minister Khawaja Asif, Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq, PPP leaders Sherry Rehman, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, PTI leaders Ali Muhammad Khan,Fawad Chaudhry, Sheikh Rashid, Farooq H Naik, Kamran Murtaza and others were present in the court.
