Peshawar-February 07 (Online)A clash took place between students of students organizations during membership campaign in Peshawar university.
During exchange of firing a policeman was injured.
The membership campaign of Insaf Student Federation (ISF) was underway when a clash took place with former member of ISF Waqar Murawat and campaigning members. .
According to the Police, Students opened fire against each other and as a result one police man was injured. The injured police constable was sent to Khyber Teaching Hospital for the treatment.
Police added that a student who fired was arrested immediately after the incident.
President of Insaf Student Federation (ISF) Iqbal Dawar told media that, former member of the organization Waqar Marwat who was enraged over suspension of his membership opened firing.
Waqar Marwat was suspended from ISF for supporting rival party local bodies polls.
