PNCA hosts opening of wildlife art exhibition

Islamabad, Oct 9 (Online): The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) hosted the opening of a captivating wildlife art exhibition on Monday, 9th October 2023.

Hosted at the prestigious PNCA venue, this exhibition features the extraordinary talents of two self-taught wildlife artists, Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Jamal Shah, Minister of National Heritage & Culture Division, alongside Ayoub Jamali, Director General of PNCA.

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Jamal Shah, while speaking about the exhibition, said that it is a matter of pride for us that the beautiful art of Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi is displayed here for exhibition.

How should animals be treated? Both artists have beautifully expressed this in their works of art.
The event marks a significant moment in Pakistan’s art scene, showcasing the profound passion for nature and wildlife shared by these gifted artists.

Both Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi have translated their childhood experiences of hunting and trekking with their father into hyper-realistic paintings. Their dedication to wildlife conservation and their meticulous portrayal of Pakistan’s endangered species have earned them recognition, both nationally and internationally.

Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi’s artworks, rendered in oils and watercolors, encapsulate the essence of freedom from spatial constraints. Through their brushstrokes, they delicately balance the relationship between humanity and nature, drawing attention to the fragile harmony between the two. The exhibition promises a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts and nature lovers to immerse themselves in the rich biodiversity of Pakistan.
