PML Q leadership leaves for Lahore after suspending scheduled activities in Capital

Islamabad March 16 (Online): The Pakistan Muslim League Q leadership has left for Lahore after suspending fixed political engagements in Islamabad.
The PML Q has also canceled its already scheduled meeting in Islamabad, sources said on Wednesday.

According to details, political statements of Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elhai have raised a debate in the country’s political environment.

In his recent statements he made it clear that neither PML has left the government nor joined the opposition, adding that PML support is with the government and will stand by the government in every difficult time.

He said the PML is an independent political party and where everyone has right to share his/ her opinion; however, decision are taken with consultation and consensus.

Pervez Elhai said Prime Minister Imran Khan is an honest man and has good intentions. He said the matters related to public concern have been taken up with the government from versy first day of their alliance with the government.

The Punjab Assembly speaker said it the government advantage if it runs the government through consultation and consensus with the allies.
