ISLAMABAD, March 22 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has directed to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ministry of Energy has decided not to observe load shedding at the time of Sehar, Iftar and Taraweeh.
While issuing instructions to all Power Distribution Companies ministry of energy said, supply of electricity will be ensured at the times of Sehar, Iftar and Taraweeh. There will be zero load management 1 hour before and one hour after Sehar.
Ministry of Energy said, there will be zero load management 1 hour before and 3 hours after Iftar. Control rooms will be established for uninterrupted supply of Electricity at operation circle level.
The authorities said, special teams have been formed for redressal of complaints at division and sub division levels.
More transformer and transformer trolleys will remain available in case any fault is developed in any transformer.
