ISLAMABAD, August 01 (Online): Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday. Detailed discussion on professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Navy came under discussion.
The Naval Chief apprised the Prime Minister about the strategy of preparing weapons and warships for the Pakistan Navy at the local level.
He also informed the Prime Minister about ongoing measures to make Pakistan self-reliant in terms of defence and acquisition of modern technology.
